Crinkle spots on hair

My hairdresser used this so I bought it because I loved how the curls turned out. I purchased this and didn’t use it for a bit I usually straighten my hair, finally used it and it leaves crinkle marks all over my hair, maybe a spring issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The barrel is nice and long however, the clamp is so tight that it leaves a mark on the hair and the hair doesn't slide easily enough on the barrel. This company doesn't make returns easy.

was looking to create beachy waves and this is the best best best for long hair. i really like the look and feel and the curl really lasted and i didnt use much hairspray
