My first Shun

Well, it was my first Shun, and is now the proud matriarch of a happy family of seven other shun's and counting. Very useful knife the only thing it won't do is chop. Between this and the Santoku anything can be done in a pinch.

You don’t know knives until you use with a Shun. It’s cuts thru vegetables like hot wire through butter.

Very Sharp

This is the third knife my son has purchased from this company. He's very happy with them all. During his inauguration of this particular knife he cut his finger. A testament as to how sharp they are.

Wonderfully sharp, mid-size slicer!

Not too big/heavy, not too small. Slices tomato slices very thin, perfect for preparing boneless chicken breasts. Just the size for many vegetables and all sandwiches. We have three Shun knives now and they are the preferred choice.

Every tip on every knife

Every tip on every knife is chipped off. Chef's knife cannot durably cut. The blade chipped on that also.
