I bought this to connect external hard drives and not for video, so far it has been performing good.
It does gets hot after a while, andi t can only handle 2 HDD and 1 SSD rather than 3 HDD and 1 SSD as it supposed to.
I bought an AC power cable and adapter from another party for it to handle 3 HDD and 1 SSD. I wish that when plug in to AC it had a light indicator to show that is on.
Will I recommend it, YES.
