It is the best straightener I have ever owned! This is actually the 2nd one I've bought. The first one was about 10 years ago and it worked just as good as the day I bought it. The only reason I had to finally buy another is because I accidentally left it on all day a few times and it finally quit working. Literally the only negative thing I have to say about it is that it doesn't automatically shut off it you accidentally leave it on for an extended period of time.

I had this straightener 12 years before it finally stopped heating up. Like what!?! I went through so many chi straighteners that would die after one year. I went to a beauty store to buy another chi in 2010 when the girls working recommended I try a babyliss. I went with their recommendation and couldn’t have been happier. I dropped mine numerous times and it still worked for 12 years. It never pulled my hair. It worked flawlessly. I replaced it with another one and plan to have to another 12 years!

Just received yesterday and used this morning for the first time on my clean, dried, coarse hair. Best flat iron I have ever used, ever! My hair looks like my hair stylist did it instead of what I normally can achieve on my own. If you are still shopping brands for the perfect and reasonably priced flat iron, get this one. 4 year warranty with receipt (I kept my box and receipt) how can you go wrong. Pull the trigger..........get this one!
