[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the ThinkVision P34WD-40 for a while now, and overall it’s a very good monitor. The 34″ ultrawide screen gives me plenty of space for multitasking, and the image quality is sharp with good colors and viewing angles. USB-C connectivity is convenient, especially for charging and connecting my laptop with a single cable. The build quality feels solid and it’s comfortable to use for long work sessions. The speakers are just okay, but for productivity and everyday use, I’m very satisfied.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Likes : very good display quality with rich colors. The joystick type of input is much easier to use than push buttons.
Dislikes : Need a second USB-A charging connector on the bottom. Has 8mm black border all around the display screen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the monitor and since there isn't much in the way of reviews on it, I thought I'd at least leave some first impressions here in case anyone comes across it when they're researching. Both the contrast as well as color quality on it are quite good. Nice deep blacks alongside vibrant colors. And the 120hz refresh rate makes the visuals quite smooth.
I watch some rings of power on Prime Video and while it's certainly not as nice as on my LG OLED TV, the better black levels made it pretty decent to view.
Also, I don't play first person shooters, so I can't really comment on higher end gaming quality, but I played some Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader on it and the colors and smoothness definitely made it much more enjoyable than on my old 27 inch IPS monitor. And I was quite happy with how the monitor is wide enough that the game covers a good amount of my field of vision. Same goes for watching movies.
Plus I have my work and home computer set up through the built-in KVM and that all works fine. The "picture beside picture" feature is also pretty handy for home office situations.
So overall, I'm very happy with it. It's certainly better than the entry level Dell 32 inch 4k 120hz VA monitor I returned on Black Friday. The picture quality is so much better due to the color quality + good contrast that I'm happy to take it in trade off vs the better resolution of the Dell I tried. This one is certainly not going back.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the ThinkVision P34WD-40 34 inch Monitor for my home office where I use both a home PC and work laptop. This monitor has allowed me to replace 3 monitors and 1 dock, leaving my desk space much more streamlined. Moreover, the 34" size is very versatile, allowing me to view two large windows side-by-side (replacing the need for 2 separate monitors). The eKVM switch allows me to easily switch between my personal PC and work laptop. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!
