[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the noise cancelling capabilities for me. It is actually better than the Bose 700 however the noise cancellation for the microphone is non-existant. People on the other end can hear everything going on around me and I was hoping this would be a great replacement for the Bose 700 I use today since it's more portable than the over the ear set. However that was not to be. With home schooling, the lack of noise cancellation on the microphone was super disappointing. It also doesn't track 2 devices so when I swap between the laptop and my phone, I have to repair which was super annoying. The touch controls is also missing features I need. The iOS app is pure garbage too as it rarely works. Overall, super disappointed and I returned it.

It's a shame that you feel the microphone pickup has not met your expectations. It's likely that this can be improved depending on the positioning of your earbuds. I'm sorry that you've also had some issues with the Bose Music app working as it should. I recommend making sure that you always have the most up to date version of the app, Similarly, it's important to keep your earbuds updated to the lastest firmware.

Incredible sound but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved Bose earphones. My first pair purchased in 2008 is now my work laptop daily use and still great. I have 2 other pairs but wanted True Wireless so I purchased the QC. Sound is excellent, immersive accurately producing highs and lows. The portion of the earpiece that goes inside the ear is too wide to fit inside the ear and thereby the stability wing cannot get close enough to the ear to be secured. Just walking normally around the house one or both would fall out within minutes. Imagine trying tovrun or exercise in these. Although I loved the sound, noise cancellation, appearance and the charging case, they constantly were falling out of my ears and I returned them.

Great sound, messy app experience

I love the sound and comfortability of the buds. I was actually surprised by how unnoticeable they are once you pop them in. In product pictures, they clearly look bulky and even a little heavy, but once you get them they are super comfortable. The sound is also a huge upgrade for me as a burgeoning audiophile coming from budget brands.
Unfortunately, I do not have a good review of the Bose Music app (Android) or firmware that comes with it. The app does provide controls and some customization for the buds, but it's not much at the end of the day (for the price paid) and sometimes doesn't even work as expected. I have found a few reviews in the Support forum about issues with the left QC bud (not) holding a charge, and general reviews of the Music app on the Google Play Store are pretty mixed.
I am satisfied with the sound, but cannot give these buds a 4 or 5 star rating because:
1. the price for the issues or missing features shouldn't be ignored 2. the Bose Music app is important to the experience... but doesn't work or include basic functions even budget brands have (equalizer, more customization options, needs better UI) 3. left bud can't seem to hold a charge or is not communicating properly with the Bose Music app
If the charging and app syncing issues were to be fixed, I'd ignore the petty gripes I have with the app and rate this a 4 or 5.
