But the phone call quality is not tolerable, people I called tell me they cannot hear me clearly, there is a constant circuit flow hamming and voices are broken.though I can hear clearly of other end.

When I was first fitting the ear buds in my ear, it was about 4 AM, and the next thing I know, my iPhone was calling a friend of mine. I must have held on to the ear bud too long or something. The firmware has been overall, disappointing. The noise cancellation is good. The fit is not as comfortable as other Bose in the ear buds, so I can wear them for about an hour. The sound is good. Overall, I had a better experience with the Apple noise cancelling Airpod Pros.

Hearing ambient noises when I need to and staying in ear are what makes these great for outdoor activities especially cycling/running

The noise cancelling feature substantially minimizes the lawnmower noise while the music is playing very clearly. They also drastically minimize to nearly non existant inside noises such as fans, the cat meowing, the vacuum, etc. They are pricey, but worth it in my opinion. They lock in the ear quite well despite physical activity on the treadmill or doing yard work.
