EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED! Incredibly engineered and executed design. This product was very planned and well executed by manufacturer. They did an excellent job with fabrication, tagging, wrapped, sorted, stacked, and boxing. Arrives in TWO (2) Cartons. FYI, if they call prior to delivery, confirm a lift gate – Bill of Lading said it was Authorized by shipper – Sometimes they try to avoid transferring to a truck with the gate. Two people can barely move, push, slide the cartons on their own. Probably the heaviest cartons I have ever tried to move without a forklift. LOL
Opened cartons on floor of shop. DO NOT UNLOAD. These cartons have been packaged with the items you need first on top with following items under them. Quite convenient. Find the two containers of miscellaneous hardware and the instructions. Yes, the instructions can be initially a bit challenging, however they are clear if you read them first front to back, then study the steps using the Tagged Items from cartons shown in the top right of each page. Honestly, it is quite easy as there are not many unique parts. Does include a few disposable tools but never used.

My family and I love this new addition to our back yard getaway. I put this together by myself in about 14 hrs., the directions were pretty good, but could use a little verbiage besides just pictures. I highly recommend this sturdy pavilion

This is a very good product. The diagrams were easy to follow with all the pieces fitting together perfectly. I was able to do a lot of the construction solo needing help with posts being stood up and beams attached as well as the roof. Also my brother in law did a beautiful job squaring the whole thing before we started the roof. I absolutely know the roof would not have gone on as easily if it had not been squared so good within 1/8 of an inch corners to corners. Also when you get to the roof, panel 16 is not screwed into the frame on either side or top so you must make sure that you overlap both sides with panel 15 and 17 otherwise the wind is going to catch it. You’ll see what I’m talking about. The instructions does not say anything about that. I didn’t have a concrete slab or porch to screw the base of the Pergola into so I stood it into the galvanized metal tubs (pictures included) and filled it with 200 pounds of concrete. I think that will do the job. Before even constructing the entire Pergola I made sure that the pavers under tubs was completely level.

The roof is the hardest part. Recommend not tightening each piece until that section is all in place and all bolts started

I read a bit about the back-story of this company and decided to trust and give them a try. I do prefer to buy local, but appreciated that what they presented on their website, they had in stock. My husband and son put it together, and stated that every part was there and its construction went smoothly. I am more than pleased with the look and quality of it. I plan to buy accessories for it from this same company.
