[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit to replace a very old Sonic rechargeable toothbrush which I had for many years. It was time for an upgrade and I liked my original so I went with one of the new Sonic units. I am very happy with my purchase. Seems to stay charged for a long time which is nice if you do 5-7 days of travel. You don't have to carry the base charger. If you do, it plugs into a USB charging port so no big deal carrying a charging adapter. Just use your phone / tablet charger.

I’m certainly glad it happened because my new Philips toothbrush is much superior to my old brand. It can hold a charge for much longer even with my wife and I using it twice a day.
