[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toothbrush shuts off automatically after a set amount of time. Toothbrush starts up in low setting half the time. These are annoying features that do not add value. Would be nice if there was a way to disable these features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. As you mentioned, all Sonicare models come with the Smartimer feature, which automatically sets the brushing time to the 2 minutes, recommended by dental professionals After these 2 minutes your Sonicare will automatically turn off. If you wish to brush for a longer period, simply press the power button and another 2-minute cycle will start. When you use the toothbrush for the first time, the default setting is the low intensity. If you see this happening more often, it might have to do with the Easy-Start feature being activated by mistake The EasyStart feature gently increases the power over the first 14 brushings to help you get used to the brushing with the Philips Sonicare. To deactivate it, press and hold the power on/off button while the handle is on the plugged-in charger, keep the power on/off button pressed until you hear a single short beep (after 3 seconds), finally, release the power on/off button. A triple tone of high-med low means the EasyStart feature has been deactivated. The battery level indicator light will blink amber one time to confirm deactivation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this handle is smaller and easier to hold. It cleans my teeth really well and it signals you when it's time to move to another section of your mouth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought about trying another brand of toothbrush after seeing it advertised, but decided to stay with the Phillips toothbrush. I was glad to hear my dental hygienist used one too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At my last cleaning the hygienist suggested I add this to my daily routine. I also use a water flosser. The timer is so useful, making sure each surface is targeted for sufficient time. I’m able to use the charging cord for my iPhone, creating less waste.
