Superior to my old electric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Philips after our old toothbrush was no longer able to hold a charge. I’m certainly glad it happened because my new Philips toothbrush is much superior to my old brand. It can hold a charge for much longer even with my wife and I using it twice a day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dentist said many times to change to an electric toothbrush. I reached to my friend to get her advice and she recommended this one. She is a dental assistant and her daughter is a dentist. Still getting used to it but it works well’

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems to be cleaning too vigorously. Since I've never used one before, I'm not sure how fast the bristles should be going.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that the toothbrush feels too vigorous and that you’re uncertain whether it’s operating as expected. We understand that switching to an electric toothbrush for the first time can take some getting used to, especially because Sonicare technology produces rapid brush movements that may feel very different from manual brushing.

We’d like to look into this further and help determine whether the toothbrush is functioning normally. When you have a moment, please reach out to us directly via Facebook/Instagram (@Philips) or on X (@PhilipsCare).

If you don’t use social media, you can also contact us through our support page:

Thank you again for your feedback, we’re here to help.

Best regards,
Philips Consumer Care

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Philips 4100 electric toothbrush is a good value for the money and works great. After my old electric toothbrush gave out, I used a manual toothbrush for a while. I finally found an affordable electric toothbrush in this product and am enjoying good thorough brushing once again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the toothbrush but I removed the brush tip for travel and cannot get it back on. Really the only bad thing about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best brush ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched to Philips from an Oral B electric brush that was so hard it hurt to brush my teeth. I have had extensive dental work to include implants & crowns, so I needed something with a sensitive brush head that was extra soft. My dentist recommended the 4100 and it exceeded my expectations. The brush is super soft and my teeth have never felt cleaner. I started with the entry level model because I wasn’t sure if it would suit my needs but I will never be without a Philips Sonic brush again, it’s the best toothbrush I’ve ever had and worth every penny.

I like it, but sometimes my gums don't

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a 76 year old man, I have to be careful. It's fine on my teeth, but if it drifts to my gums it can be too rough. I have on occasion had an abrasion on my gums. I tried using it behind my molars and found it was too easy to cause gum issues. Especially in one area where my dentist tells me the skin around my back molars have become floppy and allow debris to get between the gum and the tooth, causing pain. He advised me to depend on my water pick. So, I still try to use the electric toothbrush on front teeth; I let it drift and aim it upwards so my gums don't get hurt. I also use a butter soft brush that doesn't hurt or cause abraasions.
