So convenient to have on hand!

When you have a channel surfer in the house, you go through a lot of AA batteries. I was tired of the expense, and found these instead. They're convenient to charge and use, and we couldn't be happier with them! Thank you!

Great batteries and warranty

Been using several set of these batteries for at least 3 years. These have been performing well and been consistent with the power it delivers. Using a volt meter, it has at least 1.5x volt and discharged sets used in my devices are consistent on the 1.0x volt. In all those years and every charge, I do notice that they tend to be warm to the touch while charging. How great the warranty service was realized when I noticed that 2 units now tends get a bit hot to the touch. Several days later I got the replacements.
Concerned about the age of my units and not wanting to wait days on warranty replacement, I wondered how can I prevent these issues. I have been using 1.2 v NiCd for decades and knew that this brand can handle 2100 charge cycles. Investigated and came to notice that its branded charger has a lower amp/power rating. I started to use a lower power (5 watt instead of my usual 15 watt or greater) USB plug. Although it extended my charge time, the units are noticeably not as warm. This 5 watt charger would hopefully give me a longer service life. Otherwise, Coast support will be my backup.
Soon, Coast batteries will be replacing my last set of NiCd. My tests shows that my NiCd batteries are developing higher internal resistance to a point that these charge >2x as long and have a run time that are noticeably lesser.

Works as expected

I mainly use these with D adapters in "Mr. Beams" closet lights. The light doesn't last as long as I had hoped, but it beats buying new batteries every other month. I do recycle worn out alkalines at Staples. The Coast AA's take several hours to recharge, but i'm ok with that.
