The batteries are exceptional. They were used to power an outdoor Christmas wearth. 4AA batteries powered 100 led lights about 8 hrs a night in the north east elements and lasted about 14 days. I don't remember the exact amount days. I just recall saying there still going. I just purchased the AAA for older headlamps

Great Little AA battery

I was asked by Coast to review the ZX AA battery as a field tester. Coast sent me a package that contained 4 AA batteries as well as a charger. The instructions advised to charge the batteries prior to using. The charger is capable of charging 1-4 batteries at a time. The batteries have a USB-C charging slot so it was easy to connect the charger and start that process. The power source end of the charger cleverly is able to be plugged into a USB-A or USB-C adapter. The batteries were fully "recharged" in about 20 minutes. There is an indicator light on each battery for the status of the charging process.
I tested 2 batteries in one of my many Coast flashlights. The batteries provided power for just over 4 hours before needing to be recharged. There was no change in brightness of light while the flashlight was on. The recharging process took about 30 minutes.
If you are looking for AA rechargeable batteries, these are a nice choice!

Coast Rechargeable Batteries are Proven Winner!

Coast “AA” Rechargeable Batteries 4 Pack, Model #30982 is a GREAT set of batteries. These batteries each have a built-in Type C charging port, and the 4 lead Type C charging cable is included with the batteries. The nice feature of this charging cable is that the input side has a standard USB Type A along with a Type C conversion adapter so it can be used with literally any traditional cell/smartphone as the charging power source. As a result of this unique charging cable, you now no longer have to carry/use a bulky charger base to recharge the batteries. I really like the fact that each battery has its own LED (Light Emitting Diode) indicator charge light (red while charging and green when completely charged) and each rechargeable battery has the Coast overcharge/discharge protection circuit to protect the operating of life the battery. Depending on the charge that remains in the battery when it is recharged will determine how quickly the battery recharges to maximum strength, usually in a half to one hour time period. The rechargeable battery size is the same dimensions when compared the same size non-rechargeable battery, so they fit and work great in flashlights, radios, etc. where you have used traditional, non-rechargeable batteries. I really like the fact these batteries are corrosion resistant as I have ruined some flashlights in the past with traditional leaky batteries when they die. These batteries are an excellent choice to use in order to be environmentally responsible compared to the traditional throw away batteries! According to Coast, these batteries can be recharged up to 1,000 times so I am very impressed. This represents true cost savings when compared to buying traditional non-rechargeable batteries. I am a true believer in the performance of these Coast rechargeable batteries!

buying a set of 8 AA ZXAA Rechargeable Batteries is a smart way to save money
I have a set of them they come with a 4 port cable What I like most about this cable is that it can plug into a tesla model 3 rear seat usb mini ports, also should last a long time
so instead of spending money on primary cells just charge up these 2400mah @ 1.56VDC and great for AA, D C and AAA devices that need 1.5 and not 3.6VDC
very cool I want to get some D Cells next.

Awesome Batteries!

These rechargeable batteries are the best I’ve used! They came with a 4 way charger so you can charge all 4 batteries at once. It took less than an hour to fully charge. The batteries lasted in one of my Coast flashlights for roughly 4 hours before needing to be recharged. Recharging of the batteries took less than an hour to fully charge again.
The amount of money you’ll save on batteries with these rechargeable ones is exponential. The package says they’ll recharge at least 1,000 times. That’s a lot of charges for a set of AA batteries.
I’m extremely happy with the quality and convenience of these batteries and I highly recommend them to anyone who uses batteries on a regular basis.

Really disappointed in these batteries. I purchased these to use in a noise canceling headset. Using these batteries causes an annoying squeal in the headphones. Put my old lithium-ion batteries back in and everything's great. Really bummed. I had high hopes for this product. Yes, they were fully charged, etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
