This is the second premium set i have purchased with poor quality pieces. Lego has built their reputation on quality and charges 4X more than competitors. What happens when corners are cut and quality goes out the window? Several dozen pieces in the first half of this set either have cracks or deep scratches. This is unacceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Daughter is going to love it. Just picked up in store today, glad they had it! Not to mention I received TWO separate gift sets with my purchase. Maybe keep those for myself! Heaviest Lego box I’ve ever lifted 👌🏻 had to grab The Black Pearl while I was there also……that one goes in the vault

Haven’t built a lego set in 20+ years, got this because, well, Pokemon. Set is massive, not overly challenging, and has nice subtle details like each mons element being a “heart” inside of them

I really enjoyed the flow and build of this set. The bases for the Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard where just as fun as building the actual pokemon. The Blastoise teeth step was extremely frustrating but using a pair of pliers made it a lot easier. Really awesome display piece! Make sure to move it one piece at a time before setting it in its proper location!
