Disappointed

I was gifted this air fryer Christmas 2025 and by June/July 2026 it wasn't functioning as it should anymore. I can still technically use the air fryer, but the safety features of pausing when the basket is removed and not being able to turn on until the basket is inserted, do not work. My air fryer can be started without the basket inserted and continues to run when I remove the basket to flip food when it is supposed to pause. I reached out to them and they said they couldn't replace it and suggested I buy a new one, no thanks. Disappointed this only lasted 6 months operating as it was supposed to, would not buy it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great air fryer

Love this air fryer. It heats quickly, the nonstick interior is great and easy to clean. The food capacity is enough for 2 people, and the controls are easy to use. I love that it has a window and light that turns on to see how the food looks while cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Preheat the air fryer for a few minutes before adding food. This allows the internal heating element and fan to reach the correct cooking temperature and helps maintain consistency during the cooking cycle.
Avoid overfilling the basket. When food is packed too tightly, airflow can be restricted, which may cause uneven heating or temperature fluctuations. For best results, cook food in a single layer whenever possible.
Check the basket and tray placement. Make sure the basket is fully inserted and properly aligned. If the basket is not seated correctly, the appliance may not regulate heat as expected.
Give the unit enough space around it. Ensure there are at least a few inches of clearance on all sides of the air fryer so the ventilation system can work properly. Blocked airflow can affect temperature performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this air fryer for a while now, and it’s still one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. It makes cooking so much faster and easier—no preheating, no babysitting the stove, and way fewer dishes (which is always a win).
I use it for everything—crispy Brussels sprouts, roasted salmon, fries (obviously), and even the occasional late-night snack. The presets make it super convenient, and I love how evenly it cooks without needing tons of oil. Plus, it has great safety features like auto shut-off and a cool-touch handle, and cleanup is a breeze since the basket and tray are dishwasher-safe.

The size is the perfect mix of small enough to keep on the counter without looking out of place, yet the cooking capacity is big enough to hold enough food for 2-3 people (depending on the item.) I love, love, love the window that allows me to see my food cooking without the need to pause and open the drawer. Finally, cleaning is a breeze. As I said- Oster did it again! Love our new air fryer!
