Can’t read the display, it’s too dim

I got this Electrolux microwave with my newly built home, and it was an upgrade.
The display has been too dim to read so a repairman came out and replaced the circuit board which only improved it slightly. Now 2 years later and you can’t read the display even in the dark. The microwave works, you just have to guess on how much time you entered. It’s less than 3 years old.

multiple calls to repairmen in 2 years

We wanted something good and quality that looked great, too.
I cannot believe how many times we have had to call for repairs for a microwave at this price! Our cheap countertop microwaves that are 15, 20 years old have outlasted this thing. In fact, when our expensive Electrolux is on the fritz it's a 20 year old counter top stored in the garage that we use in the meantime.
We do not abuse it. We are a family of four and it gets used daily but nothing unusual.
Ridiculous and extremely disappointing.

Works fine, trim kit is a piece of junk

I have no problems with the microwave itself. It is easy to use and works fine. However, the trim kit is poorly designed. In person it does not appear as it does on the website. Where the stainless meets the plastic part of the trim, there are noticeable 'dents'. This is only on the bottom. I requested a replacement explaining that it was defective. The replacement looks the same. They need to come up with a better design for the trim kit. It was also difficult to install.

Wonderful product and wonderful company. Flawless execution, reliable, beautiful, silent. Have no complaints. Does what it is supposed to do and does it well.
