Vvr doesn't work. It always flickers; its pixels are very apparent like you can see the lines.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do understand the inconvenience this may have caused if the monitor flickers, VRR doesn't work and it's pixel are very apparent. To resolve this problems. ensure you are using a compatible and working video cable, your PC meets the system requirements of the monitor. Additionally, ensure Windows, the graphics driver are up to date, and the DisplayPort is working properly. Furthermore, confirm that Windows or your OS scaling is set to 100% native and that your active resolution is correctly pinned to 2560 x 1440 rather than an unintended interlaced or compressed resolution mode.

The widget could be better especially the slide for the contrast and brightness, the other one i had i could just left click any place in the slide area and the slide bar would follow, now i have to click and hold and drag the slide? not good like the more expensive XG32AQ!! this widget was real good and looked way better!!! but i needed a curve screen and it was a little bit cheaper and you asus let me know. cheap monitor cheap widget!!

I genuinely love this monitor so far and it’s only been one day. It is an upgrade in resolution and size from my tuf gaming monitor. The only problem I have came across is that AMD Freesync does not work properly on two games I’ve tested but seemed fine on other games. ( World of Warcraft and Call of duty) There was a gamma flicker or brightness flicker in the display while playing these games. I did install the driver for the monitor before hand. This might be a driver issue with asus but I’m not a developer so it’s up to asus to figure this one out.

Great monitor, I’m loving it so far, I’m coming from a 4k UHD 165hz monitor Samsung neo G7 went out on me so I wanted to try ASUS Rog strix and didn’t want to over 450 and this monitor fit perfect for me and my OG 4070 GPU running ultra settings
