Truly a poor design! Grease and/or fluid does not drain off the center back, but pools in the rear corners instead, to the point of overflowing. This has happened on two identical Griddlers! Also, when you raise the lid to check on food, it does not line up over the edge of the grill plate, but about 2” behind ir, therefore dripping any grease or fluid on the countertop AND the on coil that connects the two grill sections.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I looked at several panini grills. Most had no on off control. Some had ratings below 4. Thought hard about this one because it’s pricey. But so far it’s been worth it. On off button so no unplugging. The sandwiches I’ve made have turned out great. Good buy

Love this grill
It is so easy to clean and you can put the grills into the dishwasher. Comes out really great. Had another grill that you could put in dishwasher. It got stained and was much harder to clean. I've made pork chops, steaks and grilled cheese. So easy. Worth the money!
