This is a solid, well-constructed product for a good price. The dual grille/griddle idea is nice. It's easy to clean. My only quibble is it could use a bit more heat at the high end to really get a good sear - I find myself setting the temp to max all the time.

Several years ago we bought a Griddler and just loved it. We used it nearly everyday. Finally one of the knobs broke. That didn't bother us because it was well used. We went out and bought another one just like it. The grill plates are removable so it's easy to clean. One side is flat for things like pancakes and the other side has ridges for cooking things like hamburgers or steaks. It has a drawer that collects grease and is easy to clean. We highly recommend the Griddler!

I love my Griddler! Makes the best paninis. I also make bacon on one side and close the lid and although I still need to trun the bacon a time or two there is no splattered bacon grease mess and the bacon is so evenly cooked. Yum. It is also great for making homemade hash browns with it closed.

This is my second Griddler. I loved the first one, used it often and was heartbroken when it quit while making pancakes. So glad I found a new one and really love that the new plates are reversible instead of having to keep track of 2 different sets of plates.
