I got this as a gift jan 2017 and it has worked great until today. It just died in the middle of cooking rice..

Under cooked first, way over cooked second time.

Followed instructions to a tee. First time rice was just undertone. Used it tonight and it seemed to take forever to cook. And now all we have is mush. Way over cooked. TOO over cooked to eat. Don't thunk I will use it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working suddenly

6 C rice cooker

I used my ew rice cooker for the first time today. I washed the removable parts as instructed, one part of the vent silicone came off and I dont know how to put both pieces back in the venting hole. I put 1 in and cooked the rice, it took way longer than expected. Please advise with a picture.

Works Great Until You Lose A Part

This is my first rice cooker and so far I am very impressed. If you follow the directions and use the rice measuring cup your rice will come out perfect every time. Clean up is also very easy, however, I unscrewed the handle from the lid and somehow lost the screw that holds it together. I've searched online and can't find any info for replacement parts, so keep a close eye on all of the pieces.
