Misleading- Size matters

6 cups is misleading and dishonest. It should say 6 - 6 ounce cups not imply 6 - 8 ounce cups. A cup is 8 ounces to everyone BUT Black and Decker. Maybe you should measure in ml. instead. You can't fudge that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The measuring cup for all the rice cookers is 3/4 of a cup. (This measuring cup adheres to rice cooker industry standards (180 ml or about ¾ cup) and is NOT the same size as a standard US measuring cup (240 ml or 1 cup). I like the fact that I had a steamer basket included and it has a cook and warm feature the removable nonstick cooking bowl is absolutely awesome the fact that it has a extra built-in lid holder is convenient as well overall I really enjoyed this product!

Great Until it stopped working

I bought this in January and absolutely fell in love with it only be disappointed today to find it didn't turn on or heat up my rice never cooked. A huge inconvenience when you're trying to multitask cooking. Onlu gave me 4 good months. Super sad about this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no way to cook 6 cups of rice the side of the bowl says 3 cups of liquid so 6 cup will not work what a waste of money my last black n Decker was great for 15 years.

The capacity, in this case six cups, refers to the number of cooked cups of rice this unit can hold. When measuring rice to cook, make sure to use the included rice measure. Because rice expands as it cooks, one rice measure will make about one cooked cup of rice. I apologize for any inconvenience.
