plastic/bending hinges pop out

Hi,
I have bought the same filing box three times. All three boxes do the same thing, I am down to my last workable plastic hinges. When I move these portable boxes around, these hinges will at times pop out. It's only when I come home that I realize that box's lid is held by one hinge instead of two. There fore, I have 1 functioning box with 2 hinges attached. My other box is sitting in my closet unusable because the lid sits freely on top of the box (unattached). Does anyone know where I can buy these hinges by themselves to replace my lost ones. Thanks!

Store your child's memories

I left home with 8 ream boxes of school papers my parents saved for me. I spent a year removing papers that didn't matter and rescuing small treasures (like pins and badges and trinkets) from the crushing mass of educational evidence. One day i found this file box. It was perfect for storing my memories. The lid was perfect for the little treasures. Whereas i only open this every few months, the latch has not been a problem. I give one to my children when they start school to store their chosen memories inside.

Great product

The file box is such a great investment. Lots of room to hold some of my most important documents while being lightweight and easy to carry with the handle on top. It’s size makes it easy to tuck away and be out of sight but if it needs to be out, it’s design is a pleasant one that fits in with any space.

A life saver for the organizationally handicapped!

I think my favorite feature is the portability. Being executor for both my parents' estates, I can easily organize and access all necessary documents, accounts, and historical papers. I don't know how I would be able to function otherwise!! Because there are legal as well as personal papers, I have separate file boxes for each category. Meeting with relatives? grab the appropriate file and go. Questions on trust accounts? Grab the box and off to the bank. And these file boxes are an easy size to carry. Carry a metal 3-drawer file cabinet?? No way! I bless these every time I open, file, carry, and access papers. Thanks for a great product!

Love this box

I’m a couponer and use this box all the time to keep my coupons in order. I’ve had it for years and I don’t know what I would do without it. The storage compartment is a must to hold my scissors, pens etc.

Great box except for the latch

I have 2 of these boxes and the latch just broke off of one. That seems to be the only flaw. They are very handy for my wife's recipes. Hope I can get a re-placement latch.

Heavy duty, love that it has a little compartment on the top to put little things like pens or paper clips. The latch is sturdy. I really like this file box!
