This tiller worked better than I thought it would. We used it to till up ground from an old chicken coop about 6 inches deep. It did the job well and only got bogged down when a large rock got caught in the blades. It cut through the hard dirt easily and made that job much easier than digging by hand. I was very pleased with it.

Any doubts I may have had due to the small size of the tiller evaporated when I plugged in my new best gardening buddy. Instantly my dreams to remove the collection of weeds I erroneously called a lawn became a reality. Due to existing plantings I had to be able to get in between things. So it appears small and it is. But that's where it ends, the rest is big. It has a lot of power. On a lawn that was not tilled previously, set on lowest depth and hold on. It has a tendency to run off. Once that is done you can set it a bit deeper and it will work thru at a good pace. It surprised me just how well it worked.
