Outstanding Vent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had this installed, and it's exceeding my expectations! I had to do a direct vent out the wall, and was worried it would be noisy. It is very, very quiet when on high. The light is also much brighter than I expected. I was impressed by how long the fans spin when turned off, a sure sign of a quality mechanism! I highly recommend this vent for both aesthetics and function.

Always the best

I have been using range hood from Fotile since I brought my first house 6 years ago. Asian cuisine always involve stir frying and deep fried. Without a goof range hood, the smell would linger a long time. Fotile range hood is by far the best one I have ever used and always go back to when I buy new houses.

Very quiet Range Hood with the above average performance of the recirculation filter box

I am writing this review of UQS3001 Pixie Air range hood with re-circulation box installed one month ago, here are my review of the performance of the combination:
1. Very quiet fan operation, the quietest one as I knew. Even at the maximum fan speed, the noise is quite bearable, we only used the low and medium speed settings for our daily cooking needs and felt very comfortable to have lengthy conversation in the kitchen.
2. The re-circulation box is installed right above the hood and hiding inside the overhead cabin, we have 15" height cabin which the box barely can be fitted in and also cut two six inches diameter holes at the top plate of cabin to let the air exhaust out. The performance is better than our previous range hood but the cooking fume still can be smelled with lot less scale. However, I do not think the fume can be totally eliminated with any re-circulation range hood in the market.
3. Two shield plates can easily be removed from the hood and we just put them in the dishwasher once in every two weeks, it seems working well.
The bottom line is that we like the unit and keep enjoying our cooking.

I very happy with my purchase. The design looks great and it was easy to install with my wife. This thing is built like a rock and extraction power is very strong. Also ratio power/noise is very good. I using it with a recirculation kit
