Small, powerful, and user friendly air purifier worth the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Currently loving this air purifier. I can see the air quality gets better the more it runs. No issues and very light and compact. Has different setting so you can customize how you use it. I really like the white noise it provides on high so it’s an added bonus. I’ll give it some more use and update when the filter needs replacing to give my long term thoughts. Overall very pleased from design to price to actual filtering.

Excellent air purifier and great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Dreo DR-HAP006 air purifier for my three and four year olds’ bedroom, and overall I have been very happy with it. It has the features I wanted for a kids’ room, including multiple fan speeds, auto mode, sleep mode, turbo mode, a timer, child lock, an air quality light, and a filter reminder. The child lock is especially helpful because my kids are curious and like to press buttons.
Setup was very easy. The main thing to remember is to take the filter out of the plastic packaging before using it. After that, it is basically just placing the filter back in, locking the cover, setting the unit in a good spot, and plugging it in. I made sure to keep it away from blankets, curtains, stuffed animals, and the beds so the airflow is not blocked.
Noise has been good for a bedroom. On sleep mode it is very quiet and does not bother my kids while they are sleeping. Turbo mode is louder, but that is expected since it is moving more air. I usually use a stronger setting before bedtime if the room feels dusty or stuffy, then switch it to sleep mode overnight.
The power use seems reasonable for something that can run daily in a bedroom. It is not a huge appliance, and I like that it has auto mode and sleep mode so it does not always need to run at full power. The timer is also useful when I do not want it running nonstop.
The lights are one of the better features for a kids’ bedroom. The air quality light is helpful during the day because it gives a quick idea of the room’s air quality, but sleep mode turns the lights off after a short time. That means it does not light up the room all night or bother the kids while they are sleeping.
Maintenance is simple. I check the outside and prefilter area regularly, wipe dust off the unit, and keep an eye on the filter reminder. The filter does need to be replaced, so that is an ongoing cost, but the reminder makes it easy to know when it is time. I also like that it is just a filter based purifier and not something that gives off ozone, which matters to me since it is in a young child’s bedroom.
Overall, I think the Dreo DR-HAP006 is a great air purifier for a child’s bedroom. It is easy to set up, quiet enough for sleeping, has useful lights and controls, includes a child lock, and is not hard to maintain. For my three and four year olds’ room, it has been a very good fit.

Picked up the animal hair - totally quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an air purifier in every room, with the wildfire issues a few years ago in the east, some kitties, and a baby, it seemed like a good idea. We are trying this Dreo unit in my kitties home base room, where their litter box also resides. We already have another unit in the room, but I wanted a secondary, closer to the litter box. Running consistently, on auto for a few months, and you can see that it picked up a significant amount of cat hair and dust, picking up the slack from my other air purifier. If you are running it at level four, yes the fan is loud, but mine stays at 1 and do, and the sound is undetectable. I did not notice any improvements in making the rooms smell fresher, but a look at the filter lets me know it’s working. I would recommend a WiFi enabled model, which allows you to see trends and quality alerts. This unit is simple, no WiFi, which makes it very straightforward to use. This is a good starter purifier for a smaller room.

Sleek and Easy To Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most important feature for me in an air purifier is how well it purifies, noise, and how sleek looking it is. What I really like about this one is how the buttons are really easy to use and it displays the pollutant levels. I really like how this is quiet when I sleep even when I don't click the night mode button. The filter was easy to install. Just twist on bottom and you can install or remove.
Overall, really happy with this product and will keep it in my room. Really happy with how well built it is.

It’s definitely a lot more quiet than my other air purifier I have been using. Silent and Soothing Air Cleanliness!

I was expecting something even a little bigger that would need it's own piece of furniture to hold. But this is a wonderfully medium-sized machine that I can place anywhere in my home as long as it's got enough room around it to do it's job
Another thing is how quiet it actually is! It's like the him of a fan at night if you use a fan to help you sleep, like me haha. I guess I was expecting something that converts the air to being clean to be a little more noisier? So this is really nice!
The screen at first was a little hard to understand, but after reading over the directions, I understood what each reading was. And I needed to program some things that I didn't realize I had to do. Also, before plugging in and turning it on the first time, make sure you unscrew the bottom and take out the included filter. It's still wrapped up in plastic so re-do that and re-seal it before making it functional! I didn't even notice the yellow sticker acknowledging that I have to do that. I don't know how I missed that, honestly!
Anyway, clockwise from the top view picture I'd the Power button, the Timer Button (with a child lock option) which you can set if you only want it to run for a specific amount of time, LED light for the display indicator light that tells you of the air quality (Blue (excellent), Green (Good), Orange (Not Too Good), and Red (Bad)), Purifying Speed button that can go faster or slower from 1 to 4 different speeds, Sleep Mode which still purifies the air but on the quietest setting, and finally the Auto Mode button which can adjust the speed of purification based on the air quality conditions. That button also has a reset option for filter changing reminders.
This is a very well put together and very detailed air purifier. But also very simple to learn. And it definitely got the job done! I used it in a high traffic room for a week to see how it would go and the air no longer has a musty scent or even feel to it! Highly recommend!!
