While the lock itself has nice features and app, the lock hardware not so much. Iv gone through 2 of them, the first one just died so I got a free replacement and 2.5 years later the motherboard started to drain full batteries within the hr.... with no more warranty I went with another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
