[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited to see Venus McFlytrap! She couldn’t wait to get it out of the package. As a parent, I despise the head being plastic tagged to the packaging because I’m so afraid of accidentally cutting the doll’s hair off. But this one came out fairly easily and I thought the packaging was eye-catching as well. She loved all the little details on the accessories and couldn’t wait to put them all in the doll’s backpack. Venus comes with sunglasses, a spray bottle, a snack, a waterbottle, a notebook (with scratched paper detail that my daughter thought was so amusing), & of course her phone. Some of the items the doll can hold with some care and delicacy. My daughter liked playing with the accessories and pretending that Venus was going to school to learn. She’s a very attractive doll with a fun, bright color palette! Her hair is what really attracted me to choosing her. They are beautiful little twists that look like braids. I thought they looked really amazing in real life and just wished there was something at the end to keep them from fraying over time. A few were already coming apart at the bottoms just in the first hour or so of play. But overall, this is a gorgeous doll with lots of personality & amazing detail. Her little friend, the plant-cat Chewlian, is also super adorable! The details of it are super fun. Her clothing seems to be good quality as well as looking very cool. Overall, my daughter loves playing with Venus McFlytrap & this is one of her go-to dolls! We are fans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loved this doll and honestly I did too I loved that the dolls hair isn’t like normal doll hair that gets extremely tangled and messy I usually braid her dolls hair so it doesn’t get ruined but I didn’t have to do that with this doll and she looks beautiful with her hair down my daughter loves her accessories and pet it’s a thumbs up from both of us!

It's not a (Venus McFly)trap! Shes really worth it

From her colorful and fun outfit, her plant themed accessories, the vine detailing on her clothes and body, and her super cute pet Chewlian! We especially love the little backpack you can carry Chewlian in! Venus also comes with beautifully braided hair. It was an immediate eye-catcher, and as a bonus it doesnt tangle during play like normal doll hair does! If you're looking for a unique doll with a lot of adorable detailing, then you found her!

So much fun Venus McFlyTrap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Venus is so incredible. Her face sculpt is so detailed. She has sculpted on cornrows and beautiful pink and green twists for most of her hair. It is so soft and fun to play with it's like a dream. her shorts come with real pockets that you can put her hands in, she has two separate shirts, the black crop top and the mesh top underneath, and she comes with really cute accessories that all neatly fit inside of her bookbag. She is so fantastic and my daughter is so in love with her.

Her mother’s favorite holiday is Halloween so she has grown up seeing these types of characters. The semi spooky nature of them allows her to create her own monster stories which keep her entertained for ours. She especially loved the pet cat that plant creature as it reminded her of her own cat.

ITS A TRAP! Venus McFlyTrap stole our hearts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed in the level of detailing on this doll. From the removable vines on her boots to the braids in her hair and all the details on the accessories. Everything is so fun and cohesive. My girls love how pretty she is and that her hair is a different color and texture than most of their other dolls. The accessories are really what won us all over! The different leg coverings, the teeth on the boots! And the little critter that is deliciously mischievous! We love that the backpack is not only functional in that the doll can easily wear it, but it also holds all the accessories! I haven’t seen my girls this excited about a doll in a while. Like all Monster High dolls, everything included is such high quality. We’re very happy we got caught in this flytrap!

Coolest Ghoul on the Block

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll became an immediate favorite of my daughter’s and honestly mine too. She has an extremely attractive design. She has vines all over her body and her ears are leaves. The bright colors are also appealing, as is the braided hairstyle. Love her vine hair clip. Her sunglasses fit perfectly and her notebook can be opened for more fun. My kids also loved the little cell phone, snack, water and spray bottle she comes with a, and the little pet. The et can be removed from the basket and fits nicely in the little carry case. The vines on her boots are separate pieces and can be removed so you can remove her shoes. Her socks are not full socks but more like leg warmers. Her boots have mouths with teeth. The theming and design of this doll are great. The quality is very high on this doll and her hair is very minimally messed up after over a week of my daughter playing and sleeping with her and even taking her to school.
