Dishwasher Installation Headaches

Water hose and electric line channels on the unit’s bottom end should be actual tunnels not dents. The dishwasher’s water line connection garden hose-like hand connection is not standard. The 90 degree elbow should be supplied by Honeywell. The location of its electrical junction box is way too close to the front adjustable leg housing making the boxes cover nearly impossible to replace, if at all as the box is internally screw-connected to the washer. Also, the boxes tie-down screw was stripped upon arrival. Adjustable leg screws should be covered with some sort of dense material so they do not unscrew easily once adjusted. The dishwasher’s cabinet-secure tabs are inadequate and most likely will need to be Gerry-rigged for most installations. Your designer/engineers should be required to pre-install your products before released into the marketplace.
