I purchased one Travelpro Platinum

I purchased one Travelpro Platinum Elite 21” and two 25” for a two week European cruise. All 3 pieces worked flawlessly and returned home in great shape. Here are the things that I really liked about the luggage:
(1) the luggage traveled over all types of pavement with ease - including crack/joints in concrete, brick pavement and asphalt with cracks.
(2) I thought the wardrobe carrier in the top lid was going to be a joke or nuisance; however, it turn out be quit useful and packed a suit and sport jacket without wrinkles.
(3) very stylish. I bought the black & there are a lot of black luggage that looks very similar. Took a while to find ours.
(4) handles are comfortable & can be adjusted in height. They felt structurally sound as we rolled through the airport & cruise terminal.
(5) I love the various zip up pockets on the exterior. Very easy to organize and retrieve travel items. This was one reason I went with this style over the hard shell.
I can highly recommend the Travelpro Platinum Elite luggage.

Smooth Roller

I have only used it once, but this is a terrific suitcase. I walk with a cane so having a suitcase that rolls easily is critical. This suitcase moved with ease, despite it being full for a two-week trip. I also like the garment holder, which works well for the dresses I usually take. It gives me an option I didn't have before.

I did not like the design of the bag. The garment bag insert was useless and took too much space. The external zipper compartments were too small. The bag was a bit small for a 2 week trip and the next size up was too big.
Those disadvantages, along with the high price made it undesirable. The other bag we used for our trip was much cheaper and the capacity and design were better.
The one thing I liked about the bag was the 8 wheels.

Traveling at 71 made much easier

We recently purchased this for our trip to England. The luggage was easy to roll, everything is design for the traveler. We traveled by air and train; at 71 this made by travel easier compared to my previous luggage.
