Smaller than expected , exchanged for 2-wheel bag

First, the pictures make it look as if the bag gets extra space by extending the interior below the base of the wheels. But that space is almost entirely used by a large handle on the bottom of the bag that indents upward into the bag. There are no pictures of the bottom of the bag to show this. I would have much preferred a fabric handle that didn't consume any interior space. Second, the expansion is very minimal.
That said, the bag is good quality and design. The expansion design is a deliberate choice to make it less tippy when expanded. Unexpanded the interior size is about the same as other brand spinner bags in this size (though other bags will be larger when expanded).
I returned it and ordered the same bag in a 2-wheel version which is considerably more spacious. Good on TravelPro for continuing to offer a 2-wheel bag. The bottom handle on the 2-wheel bag does not indent into the interior space of the bag and of course 2-wheel bags have more capacity to start with. The expansion is similarly small, but offers a bit more additional space than the spinner just by virtue of a taller bag. Very happy with the quality and weight of the bag.

There is a reason Travel Pro is popular with flight crews. After receiving this spinner and comparing it to the older carry on bag it is replacing, it’s clear that this bag is of high quality construction, with lots of convenient touches that make traveling easier. It also rolls effortlessly, which is a huge plus over having to drag my older luggage on two wheels.

Amazing luggage

I used to on a 5 day trip for Valentines and had room to add the gift for my partner. My partner introduced me to this luggage as he is a pilot. When it arrived, I was amazed at how smooth and easy it was to move. So on this trip I was excited to try it out. The first thing I loved was the handle at the bottom. Easy to lift and move. There was so much space left over for more clothes. I can’t wait to test the limit for my 10 day trip coming up.
I did not use the compression organizer. The clips felt like they could snap easy. But I’ll test it eventually
