second time i bought one of those i had a newer model but i relocated so i got this one its a little bigger but work the same just the drip tray does not hold on the machine and i have to use support underneath to hold it in place . without that issue i would give 5 stars

Houston water never tasted better

I live in Houston where the drinking water is too chlorinated for my taste and its also hard. I have been buying 500ml bottled water in bulk, which is cheap but heavy to carry as I get older. My daughter bought me a pitcher with a filter like the one she uses. I didn't like it much as the filter is not efficient enough to remove the chlorine taste and the jar is too big to fit in the fridge! I read a lot of reviews about this cooler and most complained about the water being "thick" and being slow to pour. However the convenience of having cold room temp and hot water on tap was too great to pass. I have had it for six months now and found it easy to install (taking care to follow the instructions carefully) and easy to operate. The water texture and flavor are GREAT and the pour is reasonable for an icemaker line. About 10s to fill a 500mL bottle 5s for a normal glass of water nothing unreasonable. I'm not sure what other people expected or to what they are comparing (fridge door water? Never had one so I wouldn't know). The cooler top is flat so my wife and I use the extra space for water glasses and pill holders. Overall this cooler solved lots of small issues we had: space in the fridge, counter space storage for water bottles, buying water at the store and recycling all the PET bottles. The maintenance cost is also on par with the cheap water we were buying. About a couple of weeks after installing, I turned off the hot water, as we don't use it much. This was actually handy because I like to drink water at room temperature, and the button for "room temperature" is too cool. The cold is vey cold!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is actually a replacement for my original purchase. Their customer service team was excellent and worked with me to try to fix the original unit, but when that was not possible they sent me a new unit. I appreciate their quick follow up on my issue.
