This suitcase is on the small side of carryons but it has so many features that I’m excited to take it on my next trip in a few days. Seems to be high. Quality- well thought out design

I love this bag

Already on one work trip and I love this bag. A major improvement over an older maxlite bag. I downsized by 1 inch on the height but did not seem to lose that much volume overall. The bottom handgrab and plastic strips to keep the fabric off the ground when flat are other big improvements from my previous travelpro maxlite.
What to like … enough space to carry on 3 days worth of clothes, pair of shoes, and toiletries without unzipping the expander. Could have been 4 days but I packed flip flops, rash guard/swimming trunks, and travel towel because a beach was near the work site.
Though it was tight, I loved that it technically meets the size limits of most US domestic carriers should they decide to actually enforce them and it fits straight I most mainline overhead bins, and it glides/tracks effortlessly.
What I don’t like but happily accept … a little unstable upright when fully packed and/or with backpack resting on top. I tossed the toiletry insert because it is an inefficient use of space.
I also liked the design and aesthetics. Fabric looks and feels stronger than my older maxlite. It was a good blue color with brown accents that make it discernible from most other blue bags.

I bought this case because of the compact size for international travel.. The wheels rolling and quality of the fabric were great but if you put any bag on top of this one it will tip over. I tripped over it 5 times after it did this to me. I had to carry my other bag separately. If I could I would. return this because this bag is terrible. I am going back to my. old carry on and am quite disgusted with this one.

On the recommendation of the NYT Wirecutter column on spinner luggage, I purchased the larger Travelpro spinner suitcase for checked baggage. It has been wonderful to use this past year. I was sufficiently impressed with it to purchase the carry-on version in the same line. I am so glad that I did. The Crew Classic Compact Carry-On Spinner has all kind of pockets and is the right size for carry-on for any airline. It's great to have matching Travelpro luggage now.

Like, but could use a bit of improvement.

I like this bag, but if you use the front pocket for anything but the lightest of items it tips easily. This makes it difficult to use the as a carry-on, when you have technology. My laptop fits perfectly, but then the bag will tip over easily. I do love how easily this bag rolls on all surfaces.

So far, so good. Only used it on one trip but it rolls easier than any bag I’ve ever had and it has good capacity. I expect it to hold up for years but only time will tell.

Fun little bag

Love her!
Just returned from her maiden voyage. She’s a work horse did not disappoint. Wheels are smooth rolled over concrete, stones, & pavers. Handle is solid no wobble, no sliding out of place. Had her packed tight four days of clothes, two pairs of shoes, & toiletries. Zips are heavy, solid, easy pull & she carried an over stuffed under seat item. One thing, a little thing, she will tip with an unbalanced load. Gotta watch that.
