At first I was a little concerned about the suitcase material because I’m used to hard suitcases but although it’s not a hard back, it’s durable, it has plenty of room because my husband and I rarely check more than one bag. We could even fit shoes inside and not have to put those in our carry on’s. It did weigh really close to 50lbs when we packed and we didn’t pack as much as we normally do. We definitely be purchasing some travelpro luggage to complete the set!

Great large bag!

This is a great large bag consistent with the quality one expects from a Travelpro suitcase given their excellent wheel construction for rolling bags (this one also includes multiple stops on the handle, a nice touch). Surprising light for its size it has all of the features I have come to expect in its other bags, including an inside clear, sealed toiletry container that would likely contain spills, a large front that allows for multiple shoes separate for luggage (or other uses), a smaller somewhat hidden front pocket (the width of the bag and around 6 inches deep) that is more accessible than those on smaller bags and other internal pockets for separation (internal pockets is what really distinguishes the hard-sided luggage from the soft, if you don't care about internal pockets consider the hard-sided bags). It includes Travelpro's standard expander but this bag is already quite large and expanded I would fear exceeding an airline's weight limit (not a bad thing to have however, and that may be wrong given its light weight). It also includes fitted packing cubes, a very nice freebee as I love using cubes, as well as compression straps to both keep clothes from moving and allowing you to really maximize packing.
I generally travel with one medium bag (this is a large) per person and that works great where extra luggage is not at a cost premium. This is an extremely useful bag when you are paying per luggage piece and want to carry as much as possible minimizing pieces. It clearly would work well for two adults for an extended trip as long as you were careful with weight on flights, or without limit on a car trip. Overall a very nice bag!

Another solid Travelpro bag

Overall a great larger bag. The wider, dual-style wheels add stability and make it easier to roll. I had some luggage from another brand with thinner/single style wheels and continually have problems with them wanting to tip over.
It did come with 2 packing cubes and a laundry bag. The cubes are great to keep items separate and are properly sized for this larger bag. I use the laundry bag for shoes to separate from the rest of the items in the bag rather than is intended purpose.
The inside has a clear, thicker zip pocket on one side similar to some other Travelpro bags. I use this for any liquid items and while I have not had a spill, it seems as though it would be reasonably contained.
The only drawback is more on size rather than features. It is large and will accommodate a lot of items, but need to be careful of overall weight when flying to avoid additional charges.
While it may cost slightly more, I highly recommend the Travelpro items. I tried some cheaper bags from a different online retailer a couple of years ago for my kids but ended up replacing them shortly after due to fragility and instability.

Durable for teenage use

This bag is perfect! I bought this bag for my son to use in several camps this summer and not only was it easy for him to handle on his own but it was extremely durable as he traveled around the state to attend band camps.

What a great bag, it has a lot of capacity, and some well placed pockets for all your extra little gear. It looks pretty big when you see it, and it really is. For those long trips where you need a lot of capacity, this is the right bag for checking your stuff. And it has sturdy handles for grabbing it off the baggage claim carousel. Probably my favorite thing and most overlooked is that the wheels roll super smoothly!

I am OCD organized so I love pockets and compartments. The extra organization bags and laundry bag is perfect! I usually take plastic bags to put dirty laundry in so this is a plus for me!
It is very light weight, so this will not add much to any weight limitations on bags. The wheels are smooth and rotate well no matter which direction I turn. The built in bag tag is a PLUS PLUS! it blends in nicely with bag yet still a unique look. The detail put into the texture of the zipper handles is great!!! I really liked that small added detail. It has a nice deep space to optimize on packing items. Very impressed!
