I have had this for 3 years now, and has been through the ringer out in the bush with me. It holds an edge very well, it's ergonomic and for the size and weight, it does not cause fatigue from constant use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The metal is good quality but the edge was very poorly sharpened- it was basically blunt/bent. It took me quite a while to sharpen myself to the point it would cut paper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this item for clearing brush to set up hunting plots. It works great It is a mid grade carbon steel so it to a couple of chips but overall it performed very well for my uses. If you want it for heavy brush you might want to get one of there stronger steel blades. Overall it is good to have around and one of the best machetes I have purchased.

Solid forward weighting which eases the effort of chopping when a leash is used. Still working on a way to vary the leach length to have the right slip then grip with and without a large coat. The grip is good but could be great.
