Don’t be fooled by negative reviews.....

I have had mine for about 3-4 weeks now. One of the best items I have bought. The biggest thing I can say is READ EVERY SINGLE PAGE OF THE MANUAL! THIS IS IMPORTANT, otherwise you will be back here leaving bad reviews because you were too lazy to read directions. This item can easily be mis-used, I know I would have used it wrong for sure if I didn’t read entire manual and would have had the water hardness set incorrect since we have soft water.
So far I have used it on:
-greasy car parts
-glass cooktop
-jerseys that have had stains for 6 years
-carhartt items like bibs & coats
-other clothing items
-cleaning random things like white fridge handles and other kitchen items

And a bunch of other stuff......
Must read instructions tho. If you can’t do that, don’t buy it. Odds are I will make a YouTube video showing tricks and techniques.

So far we have used this a handful of times and it has worked what I would expect. I like the shorter time of heating the water into steam as compared to the ratings on other units. This has helped me clean the tile floor in the bathroom and I was shocked how bad dirty the grout lines were. It worked like a champ and cleaned them to original color. It has been used several other areas and it has worked well.
My concerns/complaints about this unit are: 1. The unit is hard to store\transport, since there is no built in hose wrap or a place for all of the accessories. 2. The body of the unit seems to be made of cheap plastic that I am concerned will over time break. 3. The brush attachment does not appear like it will last very well doing tile grout. Overall I think this this unit will provide my family with a cleaner that will help us keep our house clean.

Superb All in one cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Karcher SC3 steam cleaner is a great way to clean almost every part of your home with using just water. No harsh chemicals need to be applied to the surface or should be used in this machine. The water heats up and steam is dispersed onto the surface disinfecting 99.9% because of it’s temperature. I highly recommend it. It’s very lightweight and comes on wheels to easily move around. You simply add water in the tank, connect the extension poles, turn it on, wait about 30 seconds and it’s ready to use. Not only have I used this to clean my laminate and tile floors but also the granite countertops and stone tiles in the bathrooms including the grout. A smaller attachment is included for this job as well as a cloth. I also cleaned around the faucet by attaching a small round brush that is included as well. The kitchen chore was just as easy which included cleaning the hood vent and the stove and the inside of the stove door. This was previously very greasy and had to be cleaned twice but now looks spotless. All this was done in a matter of a month in preparation for family visiting. But this was well worth the time and little effort was needed. This machine is very durable. If safety is a big concern, one good bonus is it has a child lock so steam isn’t accidentally dispersed. There is also a low water indicator which helps to know when to add more water to finish the chore. Overall, a superb product and I finally have one multifunctional cleaner.

Best thing for stains.

I swallowed my fear and assembled it with my husband and to say we are never going to use a mop is an understatement! My husband and I are in love!
We used it clean the bathroom and the kitchen then just for fun we jokingly went after a stain on my carpet that has survived 3 carpet cleanings and a professional style cleaner. It was grease from my husbands job that’s when we noticed that this was life changing!

It is possible that I am being unrealistic, but this little (I mean little) yellow plastic steam cleaner looks as the cleaner is going to break into pieces at any time. The steam isn't hot enough. Basically, it is hot water.

I bought this to detail clean my house. Power of steam disappointing. One of the wheel is not working properly so the machine dips over and the water falls out. Hand held brush is the best feature.

Light weight and very easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this steamer on the bathroom linoleum, we have decided that the flooring no longer needs replaced! It brought the floor back to life by taking off years of residue left behind from ordinary cleaners. The steamer is so light weight, I can carry it upstairs with no effort. It is extremely portable and very easy to use! The effectiveness of this steamer compacted into a light weight portable and easy to use machine.... is absolutely what i have been looking for.

New to steam and I’m sad it took me so long. The SC3 is fabulous. It’s fast heating up and is easy to use and light and portable. I’ve taken mine to my mother in laws. Night and day difference of using a real cleaner on her floors vs the swifter mop her cleaning ladies use. The only learning curve tip is that after it has heated up bleed the hose of old water back into the machine otherwise you get a bunch of old water on your floor. Thanks Karcher!
