The monitor quality itself is amazing, but the software that runs it could use some work (or the standards that are being implemented by it). The monitor appears to force you to use DisplayPort's optional spec of Plug'n'Play standard, where when the monitor is 'powered off' it tells the computer it has been disconnected. Most other monitor manufacturers allow you to toggle 'power saving mode' or some other setting, which allows Windows to not reset your desktop every time the monitor turns on or off. This is particularly frustrating because I like my open applications (and desktop icons) to stay where they are without third party software, and I remote into my computer frequently, which means I no longer have access to that monitor whenever it is off. For a high end monitor, this should be an expected feature and is frustrating to not have. I tried contacting their support about this but got the runaround and eventually they stopped replying to me (and there is no portal to login to in order to view the status of the ticket, etc, but that's not this monitors fault).
All in all though, this monitor's quality and refresh hate has been wonderful, as has the build quality. If this is something that can be updated via a firmware update in future, I'd be more than happy to update this to a 5-star review, but it's too major of an issue for me to ignore without a fix.

Excellent monitor! However, one of my few concerns is that having the headphone jack on the back of the monitor doesn't work well with the short wired headphones since it will drag my headphone wire through the middle of the keyboard making it harder to type. I also think the monitor menu setting is not very easy to use.
Side note: there supposedly some optional speaker (Monitor USB Speaker with Sound by Harman Kardon) that can be added to the monitor, but it seems there no way to purchase it separately anywhere online. Therefore, do buy the monitor with optional speaker since its the same cost without it.
The quality of the monitor itself is great - the shell is sturdy and feels premium, there is official G-Sync compatibility, and there are plenty of modern ports (DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0). This monitor is able to output 1440p at 165hz with 10 bit enabled, which at this price point is fantastic.
I took off a star because of the panel used in the monitor (which is out of Lenovo's control). For the pros: It has the fastest response time for an IPS panel on the market, it has great colours, and it has the best white/gray uniformity I've personally seen on a gaming monitor thus far. This monitor also runs at 165hz, which is a modest bump over 144hz if your graphics card can push the frames.
Unfortunately, there is more IPS glow in the bottom left corner than any recent IPS gaming monitors I've used, as well as subtly worse contrast than competing panels. I've tested a similar monitor with the same panel, and that monitor had even worse IPS glow and contrast, whereas my Lenovo Y27Q has bearable IPS glow and better contrast (at least with my unit).
I also have an issue where my screen goes black when G-Sync is enabled and the framerate in-game drastically drops (such as loading screens or entering a menu), but that seems to be an isolated issue with Nvidia Pascal 10xx cards (and there is currently a workaround for the issue if you google online).
I can easily recommend this monitor, as I believe it's the best monitor you can get for the money as of March 2020, at least until newer panels with better technology are released at an affordable price. For what Lenovo has control over (regarding QC, monitor build, etc) they've done a great job with this monitor.
Don’t regularly leave reviews, considering I buy everything online, but this monitor has been exceptional for me. No real issues for me but I would want easier and better access to installing the drivers.
Great colours, great response time, and true 165hz IPS. Very clear and almost no inverse ghosting. You get three USB ports and a combo headphone/mic jack. Honestly what more could you ask for?
Doesn't have screen sharpness, so it looks fuzzy. Legs are huge and take up a lot of space. Colours look washed out compared to Asus.
