Extra padding helps with my knees when I’m using an ab roller. The extra cushioning helps with those planks also. Yoga matts weren’t cutting it for me. Highly recommend!

Don't be afraid of the good price

This mat performs a lot like a very expensive gym mat. It is not too squishy, and it is not too thin. I use it on hardwood floors and it's better than carpet that has the padding underneath (u can feel the slate under that on carpet if u do enough situps - this mat transfers none of that).

What's back pain?

This is well worth the money. You get a sufficiently padded mat that can be cleaned if you are so inclined. Not a requirement, but an option. It's big - you won't find yourself angry that parts are spilling off the ship. The padding, once again, is amazing. Tailbone will thank you at the same time that your abdominals tell you to pi$$ off.
