Great quality and ease of use. Bought it as a father’s day gift and he loved it as our old weed eater was on its final leg. The only problem is battery size, but paired with other B&D batteries it’s perfect

Been having this thing for at least 7 or 8 years. Batteries are a bit weaker and had to change the feed spool cover 4 or 5 times but this thing works great. Black and Decker has the most consistent line feed system I have found. Other trimmers I had I was constantly fighting with the feed line. This is the second B&and battery weed eater I have had and my next one will be as well. Only issue is I wish the batteries lasted a bit longer. I can weed eat and blow for about 30 minutes on the 2 batteries.

Another sad owner of LST 300 Trimmer

This is my second black and decker trimmer. The other lasted about 3 years - the cap broke in two. So time to buy a new one. The LST 300 is terrible. It is hard to manage and the line will not advance correctly. this looks like an issue B&D has had with many customers. I am very disappointed.

Failed second time out

I bought a new B&D trimmer because the first one failed to feed after years of use. The second time out, the new one does the opposite. It has no control over feeding so I can go through an entire spool, of factory-wound line no less, in as little as 50' of trimming. Grass triggers the auto-feed. It literally just spits it out. I have a corded one that works great, but I need a cordless for the far reaches of my property. I will not be buying another B&D after this experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this over a year ago and it is still going. I did have to buy an extra battery, but i have a bigger yard. I definitely would recommend this.

This is my 4th Black & Decker Trimmer/Edger in the past 19 years, and my 2nd of this model. All of them have worked great. They're light weight, and perfect for my yard.

Awful assembly

Coming from a mechanical engineer, the assembly of the handle is too extremely difficult. There is an easier way to assemble the handle rather than bending and shoving plastic.
