I actually used to own the old, original model of the Window Vac! I loved it, and used it daily for years! I moved and have been meaning to get the new one for a while now, and I'm so glad I did! This new one is quieter and so far works just as well! I like the better squeegee, it helps get the last few drops at the bottom of the window easier. I also use it for when I clean my countertops, I use a little of the Karchers solution and some water, give them a scrub down with a brush, then use this to squeegee and suction away the dirt! It's been great!

I'm a clean windows freak in a house with lots of big windows, and spend quite a bit of time keeping those windows clean, My expectations were tempered because so many items are overhyped and over promised. Not so the Karcher WV 6. It will save me hours of time and I'll use it over and over because it works as adverftised,

My primary use for a window vac is to dry my shower glass and tiles after each shower. After 10 years of trouble free use, the battery in my WV55 could no longer hold a charge. Because battery replacement is huge ordeal, I decided on buying a new unit. The WV55 is no longer available so I purchased the WV 6. It has good suction, is quieter than the old one, has a nice battery life display and has an easily removable water reservoir. Unfortunately Kaercher decided to go to a weird yellow plastic squeegee that contacts the window surface. This squeegee makes a horrible noise, like fingernails on a blackboard, when drying any surface. I returned my WV6 for a refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used a different brand before and it wasn’t close as good as this window vac. It works perfect. The only thing you have to do to is drying the edges from the window after using it.

Product was efficient at cleaning windows especially on the second story of my home. Makes it easy to be able to walk around on roof without having to have hose, bucket etc. On my super dirty windows I cleaned twice and I truly believe they have stayed cleaner than past times.
