Ottlite 2 in 1 LED Magnifier floor & Table

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very useful magnifier lamp light. It has a flexible head, so you can adjust for your needs. The magnifier and led lights make it easy to read or work on something using both hands. It has a nice heavy base you can place it wherever you need it. Can be used as a floor size or change it into the table size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light was super easy to assemble with great instructions. I love that the base is heavy, making it really sturdy. I do a lot of crafting and this is perfect for allowing me to see really well. The magnifier is really awesome as well!

I purchased the OTTLite 2 in 1 LED magnifier for use on my reloading and gunsmith bench. I needed something that would allow me to see small parts, put extra light right where its need. The light is perfect in several aspects. The first is it is both a table and a floor lamp. The built in ring light provides good lighting for the viewing area and it its flex head allow you to put it into almost any position you need. Overall I think its a great product. I would give it five stars but there are two things I think that could use improvement. The first is the quality of the glass. Its good, but its not great. The second is the bifocal style magnifier within the magnifier. It's not very sharp and its difficult to get it into focus as the depth of field is very shallow. With a premium piece if glass I would give it a 5! For now lets settle on 4.5.

Great light and magnification

I love this light. I can watch TV and sew at the same time. It's really great! The only thing I am not excited about is the base. The lamp is not sturdy in the base, it wiggles alot. Once you get everything adjusted it does a great job. The light is wonderful!

ottlite floor and table light

I like this lamp, I had one several years ago, got broken in a move. I now am replacing it. I use it for my craft work. I'm only giving it a 3 star not because of the light but the instructions are not very useful to me. still trying to figure out how it goes together, parts are not identified, picture blurry not helpful at all. I'm not very good at assembling things need better, clearer instructions.

I have had my lamp for over two years and use it almost every day at my crafting table. I use it as a floor lamp and when I need magnification, I swivel it over closer to my work area. It works great. HOWEVER, yesterday the gray, cylindrical, plastic connector between the base and top of the lamp snapped in half. This is a very poor design flaw. It appears that the plastic is not sturdy enough to hold the weight of the lamp itself. I am now unable to use my Model # SL-7023 OttLite floor lamp. I have contacted OttLite asking about a replacement part and hope my lamp can be repaired. I give this lamp a high rating because it is a good lamp......when it isn't broken.

My mom was excited to receive the lamp as a present .

My mom kept complaining the she couldn't see to work at her kitchen table. She chose to keep the lamp as a floor lamp and used it the very day I put it together for her. This may stave off a kitchen lighting remodel.
