The item is overpriced and the blades do not seem to be as sharp as my old container. Should have purchased a compatible unit on eBay, which is half the price and probably perform just as well as the one I purchased from the original supplier.

Hi! Please know the blades in each Vitamix container are intended and designed to be dull, even when brand new. Also note that items bought on eBay do not carry any type of warranty with us as they are not an authorized distributor.

My last one leaked, and the leaking appeared to affect my Vitamix's motor. The sound and pitch of my Vitamix 5200 were close to unbearable. When I tried the new Classic container, the mixer's pitch and volume dropped back to almost dulcet tones! It works well, and my stress from bracing for the sound has disappeared.

I've had two of these and have needed a third since one week after receiving the second, I've just been living with it cracked for the past 3 years. It seems when I attempt to blend a large amount in these pitchers something goes wrong and it just won't blend the whole smoothie, nut, butter, etc. I always load the container liquids first frozen last and start on a low setting before slowly increasing. Now I'm trying to blend nutter butters and it just can't seem to get the almonds completely smooth. The engine is great but because of the short life of the pitcher im considering another brand.

There's nothing better than a Vitamix. This huge 64 oz size fits everything and can easily add in enough liquid to make it as thick or thin as you prefer. Blends everything perfectly every single time! I've used Vitamix blenders since 2008 and they don't disappoint. When I've tried out other brands at friends' houses, they always leave small pieces of food unblended. Never with a Vitamix!
