I had to purchase this to replace the original because it got fogged up from light usage. I love the vitamix machine but not if I have to keep replacing these expensive containers annually.

I have the Vitamix 6300 and love it. Best ever I have had so far. Surpasses all the others. I had to replace the Container and there were no problems in getting a new one.

I purchased my Vitamix in 2006 and recently replaced my container so it is BPA free. I feel so much better knowing that it is BPA free. I use my mixer everyday making my fresh green veggie protein drink and blending various soups. I love my mixer and not think twice what I will purchase when that day in the future it breaks down from overuse. I have purchased this mixer many times for gifts to family and friends.

I've been using this to grind rice into flour and also for flax seeds.
It does a good job and the flours are easy to remove. The only negative is that the container becomes cloudy and scratched over time due to force of grains hitting against the plastic. Wish this came in a stainless steel or other more durable material. All in all it is a good container.

,I use this almost every day for smoothies, soups, sorbets. It is wonderfully designed - doesn't drip after pouring out the lovelies inside and is a breeze to clean. Don't know how Icooked befor I received my Vitamix!
