We've had our vitamix blender for over 7 years now; we make smoothies every morning for breakfast and it still works like new. The pitcher required replacing only because it tends to get scratched and discoloured, due to being plastic rather than glass.

After about 30 years my container at the base starting leaking. The NEW lid is so easy to put on and off I had the one that you had to push down after oiling it real hard and the other one had the wire handles on the sides of it for ease of use......real bad design. Both have gone to recycle heaven !!! This new one is a dream to use with the "flip" lid. Lov my machine even after all of this

I was very surprised to find despite my appliance being so old, I could still buy the replacement part. It was easy to order and arrived very quickly. I'm back to blending daily. Great product.
