I love my Vitamix. My veggie smoothie makes my day. Could I get by for the 8 days of Passover without one? Why try to find out? With a spare container I could enjoy my smoothies while remaining KP. So very worth it!

I was skeptical when I bought my first 64 oz Vitamix Blender; Why do I want a blender that has a hole in the top lid? The main reason was I seen many kudos concerning the Vitamix. After using the 64 oz container with the tamper, I would not want any other type of blender. All blenders work well with a lot of liquid inside of the container. I discovered with the tamper I could use less or no added liquid. For example: I can steam Kale or Collard Greens for 8 minutes and then put the wet greens inside the container and by using the tamper I can liquefy the greens without adding anymore liquids. I find this useful when I want to create one large bowl of soup with a lot nutrition, not a lot of water, which would create two bowls of soup.

I love my 64 ounce Vitamix container! After cleaning, I hand dry it with a flour sack towel to keep in "like new" between uses. It's the perfect size for making large quantities of soup and two (2) servings of smoothies (blended salads) for breakfast every morning.
