I bought my Vitamix blender (which is not cheap) over 10 years which I typically use at least once or twice a day. While my original blender jar is still going strong, I recently purchased a 2nd new blender jar (with a new blade) so I can use it for my Vitamix needs and use my older jar for shredding food waste for my garden compost. Given how frequently I use my Vitamix blender, it has been a good investment providing value on a daily basis for over a decade.

This container was a replacement for my old container, which had been dropped and had, naturally, cracked near the blade. I love my very useful Vitamix enough to pay the amount to replace the container. The tamper, which comes with the container, is the reason that I would not go with another brand of blender. No other blender has this necessary tool, that I have found.
