I had to purchase a new 64 ounce container because the old one was immersed in water and the bearings started to go. Why can't they make one that is water tight? Other things that are used around liquids have them like boat trailers, cars and washing machines. These things are over priced and under built.

Had to buy the container as original broke when my son tried to stir the soup with a wooden spoon while machine still in operation - not a wise thing to do but that's how I came to make this purchase. It's probably a step up on the original, I'm especially liking the handle. Excellent product. Only three starts as so expensive! Can't justify the cost in my head, very over priced but a must have.

Hello, sometime when a foreign object is blended, it can cause damage to the motor base. Please call 800-848-2649 so we can troubleshoot your base. Also, we stand behind the quality of our containers with 3 year full warranties, covering all parts, performance, labor, and two-way shipping at no cost to you. Of course accidents are not covered.

I already loved my wide- base container, but now with the purchase of the narrow-base container I can make smaller amounts and cut recipes in half. I can make a single-serving smoothie, whereas I used to have to make large amounts to get the right texture in the wide-base container.
