I've had this blender for about 12 years now I think. Works great. The bearings or bushings or whatever, in the base of the pitcher, were finally starting to wear out causing the pitcher to leak out the bottom. Called customer service, gave them my money, and I had a replacement in less than a week! Now it's like brand new again. I use my blender to make smoothies, pulverize seasonings (like dried mushrooms and coffee beans, etc.). It also does a great job of pureeing homemade mustard. Really great well built machine.

We bought this container to replace the original one from 18+ years ago. We use our blender at least daily and the blade gasket finally gave up on us. I thought we'd need a whole new blender because the motor had started to sound little sad but it turned out the motor was just working extra hard to turn those old blades and we're back in business! Love the soft handle and the new lid design!
