I have this container with my vitamix 5200 and I dropped it full of an oatmeal/milk smoothie pretty much as soon as I started using it. At first I was disappointed it wasn't glass but, now that i've dropped it and it didn't shatter I'm supper glad it's not. Mine came out of the incident a total mess but unharmed. I'm now a believer in this container.

I bouth this to replace my 10 year old container that I loved. The blades finally wore down. I was hoping the new one would a as fabulous as the first one. Although the blades are sharp, the vortex is not as strong which requires me to spend more time mixing.
