I bought The Classic 64-ounce Container to make single serving smoothies. My machine came with the wider version and I always had to make more than enough to satisfy the shape and profile of that container. I find that The Classic Version is more versatile.

I’ve had my vitamix for nearly 10 years and use it hard. The new container seems way overpriced to me (so I put off buying it for a long time) but now that I have it my vitamix feels brand new. I use is almost daily. It’s soooooo much quieter.

Some older blending ideas are just better than new

This is my favorite container. I sold my original 5200 thinking newer was better. It turned out to be newer is different. I blend small amounts that end up all over the inside the larger and wider based 64oz container. With the exception of making nut butters which are very hard to remove from this container's narrow bottom, this is my first choice for blending efficiently and effectively.
