Ordered replacement jug for the Vitamix blender - fantastic product, strong and durable and only needed replacing as had had about five years of everyday hard use in our professional kitchen. Arrived super-promptly - even though it was the week before Christmas - and is just perfect, with an upgraded lid, with great clips to ensure no leaks.

The container itself is great! The issue is Vitamix's change in policy that they will not sell replacement blades...you must buy the entire container. This adds unneeded cost!

Hello. Wee do not recommend removing the blades from the container for any reason. These are factory sealed to ensure they are least likely to leak and perform to optimum efficiency.

I had to purchase this after dropping and breaking the previous one. Its a very nice reworking of the Classic container, made from clear plastic and somewhat shorter than the previous container. Happy with it, all in all, and hope it lasts another five years.

Expensive for what it is but it’s great to have a new and clean container. I use it daily for veggie smoothies and it holds up well. The last one lasted for 5-6 years at the low end.
