The container itself is great! The issue is Vitamix's change in policy that they will not sell replacement blades...you must buy the entire container. This adds unneeded cost!

Hello. Wee do not recommend removing the blades from the container for any reason. These are factory sealed to ensure they are least likely to leak and perform to optimum efficiency.

I had to purchase this after dropping and breaking the previous one. Its a very nice reworking of the Classic container, made from clear plastic and somewhat shorter than the previous container. Happy with it, all in all, and hope it lasts another five years.

Expensive for what it is but it’s great to have a new and clean container. I use it daily for veggie smoothies and it holds up well. The last one lasted for 5-6 years at the low end.

I bought The Classic 64-ounce Container to make single serving smoothies. My machine came with the wider version and I always had to make more than enough to satisfy the shape and profile of that container. I find that The Classic Version is more versatile.
